Becca Smith

Becca Smith

Becca is a singer-songwriter on a mission to change the world through her love for music. Becca Smith was born in Columbia, South Carolina and brought her unique pop-folk songwriting to Charleston in 2011 when she began her education at the College of Charleston. Since then, Smith has garnered two bachelor’s degrees and a lifetime’s worth of experiences in the Holy City. Smith’s lyricism exhibits the wisdom of someone who has lived Becca Smithmuch longer than her 24 years. She is a self-taught musician with a passion to deliver truth and passion through her words. Becca hopes that her lyrics might break barriers between time and age, inspire the kids who grew up too soon, and create a call to action for peace and love in a chaotic world.
As an up-and-comer in the Charleston music community, there are few musicians better-suited for this artistic responsibility than Becca. With the help of her generous Kickstarter backers, family, and friends, Smith is currently recording her first original album at Truphonic Studios, that is due out this year . As her music grows, so do you, and what better kind of soundtrack is there to put to your life?

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Talent Magazines than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Talent Magazines’ style of journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we are doing it since 2009 because we believe that every talent needs an outlet and we want to be that outlet.

If everyone who reads our magazines, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as $10, you can support Talent Magazines – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
