Cocchiaro

American rock guitarists and songwriters, Carl and Charlie Cocchiaro, are professional guitarists and songwriters from the Boston, MA area. Self-taught musicians who began playing music at 12, they polished their craft at the University of Miami and Berklee College of Music. Working together as a songwriting team for over 20 years in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, their original music has a melodic pop metal edge, influenced by Boston, Journey, Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Eagles, and Rush. Their songwriting style includes arena rock rhythm
guitars, harmony double-lead guitar solos, and pop vocals accented by 4-part vocal harmonies. During the 80’s and 90’s, Carl and Charlie performed extensively throughout New England with rock bands that included world-renowned drummer Mike Mangini (Dream Theatre), singer Tommy Fey (Farrenheit), bassist Danny Hargrove (The Joe Perry Project), and drummer Steve Hart (The Outlets). Their self-titled CD features hit songs “Marianne”, “Sweetheart”, and “Wasted Love”.
