Bizness Suit is a 4-piece rock band from Charleston, SC featuring members Sean Barry, Drew Tapp, Hunter Moss and Jeremy Hunton. The band was originally founded in 2014 by Sean Barry (guitar/vocals) and Drew Tapp (Bass). Between the two, Bizness Suit funded, recorded, and tracked their first EP, self titled “Bizness Suit”. Near the end of tracking, the band brought in drummer Jeremy Hunton to record the last few songs. Hunton would go on to become the 3rd and final member of the group.
With the EP in hand, Bizness Suit promoted the album around all neighborhoods in Charleston, SC. In 2015, the band connected with LA producer Martin Guigui and began making plans to record a full LP at Lion Share Studios in Los Angeles. After a 3 month fundraising campaign through Kickstarter, a long plane trip, and a week in the studio, Bizness Suit had recorded their debut album, “Grey Sky Blues”. During the mixing process, Guigui introduced the band to rock and roll legends Billy Gibbons, who was on tour with Guigui for his first solo album, “Perfectamundo,” and Scott Page, saxophonist for Pink Floyd and Supertramp. Page contributed to two tracks on the album and Gibbons agreed to record a solo for the single, “Rock ‘N’ Rolla” and did so while on the “Perfectamundo” tour.
Shortly after the recording of Billy Gibbons, the trio met and signed with Pacific Records of San Diego. With the backing of Pacific Records, the band is released “Grey Sky Blues” on February, 10th, 2017. At their CD release, Bizness Suit recruited the talents of the frontman of Pluff Mud Queen, Hunter Moss (lead guitar), for the encore of the show. The encore went over so well, that the band quickly recruited Moss as the 4th and final member of Bizness Suit. Currently, Bizness Suit is working on plans for touring the Southeast and recording new music.
