I received my BA in Interior Design from Anderson University in S.C. in 1999. After graduation, I began my career in Atlanta, GA, working as a junior designer in several architectural firms, learning the basics of space planning, construction documents and project management. After the tragedy of 9/11, I relocated to New York City, where I then began working for another architectural firm, redesigning high-end retail stores like Fendi on 5th Avenue and Christian Dior boutiques all over the world. During this time, I also worked on many residential and clubhouse projects, front lobby designs, and healthcare facilities. I began my own design business in New York City in 2004 and worked with clients all over the East Coast. Having relocated to the Charlotte area in 2007, I have continued to work with residential clientele predominantly, as my passion is in custom interior design and architectural renovations. I passed my National Certification for Interior Design Qualification exam in 2005, establishing myself as a licensed designer and am a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). I pride myself on staying ahead of the curve on trends and providing my clients classic and tasteful designs that will remain “in style” for many years to come.
