Julie Byrne

 

Julie is a longtime resident of Birmingham, Michigan, where she and her husband raised their 3 sons, enjoys gardening, golf, and good books in her spare time and is involved with local charities Christ Child Society, Variety the Children’s Charity and Cornerstone Schools in Detroit.
As the sole proprietor of Julie byrne Interiors with more than 2 decades of Interior Design experience, Julie’s attention to detail, artistic eye and keen color sense create lasting relationships with clients who contact her for repeat business and referrals. Her experience covers a broad spectrum of design projects in both commercial and residential applications. Working primarily in the metro Detroit area, she guides clients from initial plans to the final finishing touches. Julie can meet the needs of just about any client whether it be a simple refresh of a room with new furnishings, accessories, or art work, to full renovation of a kitchen, bathroom, or lower level, or a new build project starting with the architect’s blueprints.
Julie works in a variety of design styles, which allows her to meet a range of client needs, interests and budgets. Her success as an interior designer is a result of close work with her clients in a partnership to translate their concerns, understand their interests, determine a working budget and establish a time frame to create beautiful and functional spaces they will love and appreciate. Julie also collaborates and partners with various trades, builders, and architects to achieve the highest quality and satisfaction for her customers. Julie graduated cum laude from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts. Following that degree, Julie earned a Masters of Fine Arts from both Wayne State University and the Cranbook Academy of Art, where her exposure to architecture and interiors of renowned designers and artists broadened her personal approach and design aesthetics.
