Cheri Jamison

Cheri Jamison is a highly regarded, inspiring classical singer who has performed worldwide. Trained at USC’s Thornton School of Music, Cheri singing career began at USC Opera and The Chamber Opera of USC, where she sang the title role in the world-premiere of “Broken Pieces,” co-produced and sang a main role in the world-premiere of “The Stone House,” and performed the first recording of the chamber opera, “The Face.” Cheri has performed with The Intimate Opera Company, Repertory Opera Company, Fresno Opera League, California Opera Association, and has been a featured soloist with the Desert Community Orchestra and La Mirada Symphony. In 2010, Cheri sang West Coast premiere of Peter Schickele’s song cycle, Baptism, originally written for Joan Baez, with the world-famous Armadillo String Quartet. ?Long Beach Opera became her musical home when she was cast in the one-woman opera, The Diary of Anne Frank, now her signature role, performing for 7 seasons and effectively introducing over 15,000 people to opera during that time. Cheri’s powerful acting abilities, crystal clear lyrical voice, and memorable stage presence bring Anne Frank to life in this tour-de-force one woman opera. Cheri is also highly cherished as an inspirational singer, being featured at three spiritual world headquarters and singing at live events and retreats for the Personal Growth Industry. Her album Sacred Prayers, a classical collection of prayerful music, is hailed as “evoking mystic presence” and helping the listener, “find comfort and reconnect.” Cheri has been the featured singer to open for luminary speakers and Hay House authors such as Arianna Huffington, Neal Donald Walsch, Drs. Ron and Mary Hulnick, and Iyanla Vanzant.
