The Crows Rock Band is one of the top bands from Sacramento made up of 4 talented musicians. With Irma’s lead vocals, Jeff’s passion on lead guitar and vocals, Tim’s skill on the fretboard, and Paul’s drumming expertise and backup vocals, The Crows will definitely make you want to get up out of your seat!
Irma – Lead Vocals
Irma started her career at the age of 7 by participating in her first musical. She has been performing locally in the Sacramento area for over 30 years. After studying classically at the University of The Pacific’s Music Conservatory she joined a 50’s & 60’s Rock N Roll band. Her experience with the band coupled with her musical theater background creates a unique blend of technical and soulful vocalizations that is very versatile.
Jeff – Lead Guitar & Lead Vocals
Jeff started playing British punk when he was in high school. After a few rough shows, he figured he’d better learn to play an instrument and for him the guitar was a “no-brainer.” During the 80’s as lead guitar and vocalist, he played “Contemporary Rock” which today is known as “Classic Rock.” While living in central Europe, Jeff played Mediterranean cruise ships, opened for Peaches and Herb in Germany with the USO, and after returning to the States, he opened for the Temptations and the Pointer Sisters. 10 years ago, Jeff formed the Elk Grove/Sacramento based band “The Crows” which has become well known in Northern California as both a classic and contemporary rock cover band.
Tim – Bass Guitar
Originally from the Los Angeles area, Tim is an electric bassist, currently residing in Fair Oaks, California. While in Southern California, Tim attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and was the bassist for several local popular pop and classic rock bands. Due to demands of his professional career (aka day job), Tim and his family relocated to Northern California in 1997. Tim has recorded bass for numerous projects including a self-produced CD released in 2007 by the jazz band, Dream Door.
Paul – Drums & Backup Vocals
With his classical percussion training and years of experience, Paul brings a driving groove to the band. Paul’s roots are in rock, jazz (big band and progressive/fusion), as well as classical orchestral ensemble. He has recorded with other Sacramento bands including a progressive rock original album “The Good Part of a Pencil” with The Jerry Jennings Group which was released in 1992. He currently records, masters, and produces all The Crows audio and video demos from his studio, Saddlehorn Productions.
